This is a happy father's day.
Several of the family were standing in the driveway today and watched this happen.
Here is what is left of David's Ford as he was stopped in front of the house waiting to make a left turn into our driveway.

He was hit from behind by a car going 60-70 miles an hour. The woman said she did not see him stoped or his turn signal
She had two little kids in her back seat. No brakes were applied. His car went airborne.
Her's took down a telephone pole and power lines as it left the road and wound up in a field.

David's wound up in the oncoming lane where it was hit by another car head-on.

That car wound up in the ditch in front of the side yard. They had to cut the woman that was driving out of the car.
No word yet on her condition but the EMTs think she will be OK.
Everyone was transported to the hospital.

They released David from the hospital after checking him over.
This could have been a lot worse.
I am thankfull that little Ford held up.
It started off with a bang but it is a happy Father's day.
