Transfer of a domain name to a new owner:
This can usually be done at no cost to either the seller or buyer. I use GoDaddy.com for registering most of my domains. The buyer will need to set up an account at GoDaddy (free) and I will then transfer the domain name(s) to the new owners account. This allows the buyer to have ownership rights and complete control over their new domain name.
If the domain you purchase from me is not currently at the GoDaddy registrar service, I will transfer the domain to GoDaddy and then transfer it to your account (this can often take several days).

Annual cost of a domain name:
The yearly fee for owning a domain name is around $8.95 (payable by the buyer to the registrar when due).

Web Site Hosting:
If the domain name you purchase from me also includes an existing web site, I will continue to host the web site for up to two months on my server so the buyer can make hosting arrangements with a new provider. If the buyer wishes to continue to keep the web site hosted on my server, a monthly fee will be negotiated (usually around $20/month for most average sites). There are hundreds of hosting companies you can choose from and the buyer has full control over where they wish to host a web site or email.

If you choose to use an existing web site associated with a domain name but are using a new hosting service, the existing web site will be sent to you on CD.
