In my early searching for Weller Speedy Irons I found different replacement tips with the same part number (#7300).
This lead to a lot of confusion when communicating with others on my search for original Speedy Iron Model B tips.

Many years ago after talking with a former Weller employee, I found there were two different replacement tips for Weller's Speedy Iron Model B with the same replacement part number.
The first tips were what looked to be a stiff, bent plated copper wire. A couple of the Speedy Irons I acquired had this early tip.
Other Speedy Irons I found had what I assumed to be a later heaver copper tip with a larger end which I thought were made for much later guns. I found out during our conversation
those later tips were sold for the Speedy Iron Model B along with the newer gun models S-107 and D-207 with the same replacement model number (#7300) the early wire tip had.
This duplication of part numbers lead to confusion for Weller's sales and for the customer.
Those newer, heavier tips were eventually given the name "DURATIPS" and the original Speedy Iron Model B tips were given new part numbers (7028 copper) and 7029 (plated copper).
